Terms of service

These terms cover your use of optiseed.io and, once you have a place, the Optiseed service. By using the site or applying for a place you agree to them.

The service

Optiseed builds a Company Profile from the systems you connect and lets you share it on your terms. We will run the service with reasonable care and skill, and tell you in advance about changes that materially affect it.

Your account and your data

  • You are responsible for what happens under your login and for keeping it secure.
  • The data in your connected systems stays yours. You give us permission to read it to provide the service, and nothing more.
  • Connections are read-only. Optiseed never writes to your systems and never holds your passwords.
  • You decide who sees your profile, which sections and for how long. We don’t share it with anyone you haven’t chosen.

Founding Cohort pricing

Founding pricing applies to companies that connect within 14 days of acceptance and is locked for 12 months from the day you connect, then 25% off the list price for life. Nothing is charged until your first profile is built. You can cancel at any time; access runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

Acceptable use

Use Optiseed only for your own company and only in ways that are lawful. Don’t try to access other companies’ data, interfere with the service, or resell it.

What we are not

Optiseed is not a lender, an accountant or a financial adviser, and a Company Profile is not advice. Figures are drawn from your connected sources and traced to them; decisions you take on the basis of your profile are your own.

Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by data in your connected systems being inaccurate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Optiseed at any time and ask us to delete your data. We can suspend or end the service if these terms are breached, and will tell you why.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change materially affects you we will let you know beforehand. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
